I am working with an Excel template, prepared with Excel 2007 but saved as a 97-2003 file. I have many formulas throughout the book. Sometimes when I open it and delete cell contents, the formulas do not recalculate - I have to go into the formula, click on it, click enter and then it will recalculate. With 100+ formulas this fix is not an option. Has anyone experienced this with Excel 2007? Very frustrating.

Check the Microsoft site to see if an "Excel template, prepared with Excel 2007 but saved as a 97-2003 file" is supported.

There may be a knowledge base article or forum discussion about this.

I found a fix...there is an "Excel options" menu and a checkbox for "Formulas > Auto-recalculate".
