Bad Ass Wallace17 Ackley Hornet
I made some new brass for my 17 Ackley Hornet which is built on a Martini Cadet action. Always had trouble with cases being difficult to chamber and extract with both Remington and Winchester brass.
Yesterday the only brass available was PPU which to my suprise chambered easily. The case rims are 0.060" thick as opposed to the Remington 0.063". Makes a lot of difference.
With the 8x56 Kahles scope the rifle is ready for this winters fox season!

AtkinsonI use PPU brass in most of my guns, its as good as any and priced right.

bobmnBad: Be advised PPU brass is much heavier than Win or Rem. I had trouble getting 13 grains of LilGun behind a 40 grain Nosler BT. Classy rifle.

KarooLovely set-up.
It would be great to get some details of your load and accuracy, etc.

MoreBSI like your set-up!
Have you tried to thin the rims on the W/W and RP brass yet?
I have one on a Falling Block Works action, they are quite the explosive killer!

Have you tried CFE Black? Mine does very well on it!
