Put my new 6-284 on paper today. Win brass,WLR primers, and 56.5 gr rl 22 yields 3550fps and group size about 1/2@100 yards. I already had some 57 gr rl22 loaded so i tried them too. Only the bullet never made it to the target. the chrony read 3640, and bolt lift was a tad stiff. Bullets were moly-coated, but the barrel wasn't. The barrel(Lilja 30" 1-8 twist) had only five rounds through it when I started today. Could it be the 1-8 twist factor had something to do w/ the bullets coming apart. Has anybody else seen this?

I loaded some 40 grain Sierra's ( intended for use in a .22 Hornet ) in my 22-250 kind of on the hot side. They never made it to the target either. You could see them come apart about 75 yard out. I guess the rotational spin was to the extreme.
