As I am a big fan of single shots and thus rimmed cartridges, I was thinking of a new medium bore that could be able to handle all spectrum of the larger non-dangerous game worldwide.
I am considering simply to neck down 9.3x74 to 0.338-inch and load it with 250 grain bullet to get the best SD and reasonable velocity (ca 2500 fps).
Is it possible that someone has already "invented" the same cartridge?
