Correct me if I am wrong, but if you trim a 22 Nosler case to 1.75” and use shortened 30-30 dies and a 30-30 reamer to the appropriate depth, you could have a fun and potent 30 cal wildcat. Being that the 22 Nosler has the same rim diameter as a 223, all you would need is 6.8 SPC mags, a new barrel and existing dies and reamers. Any flies in this? It would be a mid range thumper wildcat with minimal investment.

Check out the 30 HRT, which is interpreted. The 30 Herrett rimless tactical. Using 6.8SPC run into the 30 Herrett dies and trimmed slightly, it works with 6.8 SPC bolt, and mag followers.

As a 30 Cal on the 15, it has more power potential than the 300 BLK yet could be used as a subsonic role as well. It may have advantages over the 7.62x39, as it doesn't need specialty magazines or a different lower that takes AK mags.

Interesting round, alas I've not yet worked with it. It has some good points, the detractor being it is a handload prospect, that is in the similar application range of the x39 Russian, which is everywhere.

thanks for sharing about that cartridge. Looking at the cartridge dimensions it looks like both cartridges would have about the same usable case capacity but the 30-30 1 3/4 would be optimized for 30-30 bullets which is obviously better suited for this functional impact velocity. The 30-30 1 3/4 could be loaded with nominal 308 bullets but would suffer in impact velocity functionality. Loaded to the same OAL with 30-30 bullets they would both be at a functional tie as far as performance. The longer neck of the 30-30 1 3/4 would lend better to cast bullet use as well.
