2019 Report

It is so difficult in this industry to try and do better than the previous year. Those that know me, can confirm that I am extremely competitive, with my biggest competition being myself and my own performance.

We have seen exceptional growth in our business and it becomes harder and harder each year to do better than the previous. But folks, 2019 was a bumper year like no other, and I do not think we will beat the season easily again. It helped that I have access to just over 250,000 acres to hunt from our main Infinity Lodge, and invested in building an infrastructure that can handle the amount of trophies and hunters without “dropping the ball”

Hosting just about 130 American visitors for the year, taking 436 animals, takes a lot of planning and a staff compliment that knows what they are doing. And man, are we blessed with fantastic people.

Me and Erika now employ 31 people full time and they are spread out between Management crew, Professional Hunters, Lodge staff, Butchery staff, Taxidermy staff, anti-poaching and ranch workers.

In short, we had a bumper year.

The quality of the Buffalo in our area is as diverse as they are good. I reckon we offer one of the best ranch Buffalo hunts in South Africa with our main herd now being just over 250 animals.

Our night hunts was also a great this past year, but the Bushpigs gave us a good hiding!

The addition of Andre Kruger as a full time Professional Hunter was the right move, and he fit into our way of doing things like the proverbial glove.

Our Taxidermy shop is performing good, and after the initial “hick-ups” of a new start up, we got the right people doing the right things. Turn around on Taxidermy is about 10 months, and we offer very competitive pricing on the bottom line of the safari. Probably the biggest bonus is the hunter only having to deal with one company to get the trophies home. It does not hurt to save about $1000.00 in doing so!

Infinito Safaris is slowly establishing ourselves as the market leader for affordable family or group hunting holidays to South Africa. Our location helps a lot being just 2 hours from the airport in Johannesburg and only 2 hours and a bit from the Kruger National park. The Buffalo Valley Conservancy is a fantastic place to hunt and in high demand!

All in all, the future looks bright and we are excited with some new challenges coming up! Keep your eyes open for our new planned expansion into the Plains Game market in Botswana and the Southern part of South Africa!

Me and Erika will be at all the mayor shows this year again, so please feel free to give me a shout on 469 243 6243 if you would like to discuss hunting with us!

Charle if you are using Imgur go to 'huge thumbnail'. Your photos are too small.

Charl: Try sizing your pics to 928 X 1237. That should be about the right size. tu2 Here's an example:
