Were permits available for Giant Forest Hogs?

I have asked several times about doing a 5 day for giant forest hogs and some common stuff in the Bale mounts and told fat chance.

I have heard that there isn't a lot of quota for those.

cheers,

Seth

Seth,
Yes, Jason has tags for giant forest hogs. I saw one while there. He has an area that is pretty much 100%. That is the good news. The bad news is that the next tag is available in 2020 due to demand. The price was very reasonable for what you are hunting. I would contact Jason directly and get it rolling.

Interesting stuff.

I'll ask about them in CAR or Cameroon and see what I can find out.

By 2020 I ought to be able to figure it out financially.

I took two in CAR and would not set foot in that country again - it is totally lawless.

Cameroon have them but apparently not as big as in Ethiopia.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

I think if a guy knew his number was up, and he could only take one last safari. I'd take one with Jason and Nassos.

What a place.
