When you mention how cool Criton is under pressure around elephant we should all remember that it's only about three years ago that he was trampled by a bull that smashed his pelvis. That was in the June if my memory serves and he was back hunting at the end of that September. Buzz will correct me if I have my timings wrong. One of my greatest pleasures in hunting with CM is watching him work. He is a magician in the bush.

Great report and some fine trophies Larry. Well done. That is a magnificent leopard for the Valley.

I assume you killed that leopard near the Mukanga camp?
He was there for awhile.

Thanks.

I will tell the truth and say that the only time I was scared on the safari was when I whacked the honey badger. I exited the truck to shoot. It was CLOSE. I was afraid it might get after me. However, there was a second one across the road that really concerned me. It was just a few yards away raising hell. Fortunately, I have no charging honey badger stories.

Can you imagine the grief I would get if a honey badger got me?

Why Larry Why ??

AR needs to adopt the honey badger as it mascot and petition DSC, SCI and NRA to protect the honey badger.

Thank you all.

I have a few followup comments.

My shotgun issues appear to be the ammo. My gun guys fired 50 rounds of American made shells without a single problem.

I have seen the footage of the kill shots. It is damned impressive just how fast a second shot can be taken with a double.

On the leopard footage, the bullet can be seen clearly. I find that interesting.

I am NEVER taking so little ammo ever again.

I ended up being insanely lucky. It was a blast.

Think about the ammo you would have saved if you had not killed the poor little honey badger Cool
