when loading GI brass i find that about 6 or 7% of the time the enter of the primer breaks out when resizing, leaving the sidewalls of the primer stuck in the case. so recently when i got tired enough of this i found that a .316 endmill chucked into a drill press would cut the old primer out and leave the pocket entirely useable
