Texas Governor Greg Abbott(R) has awarded Jack Wilson the Medal of Courage for his actions while defending parishioners at his church.
What really surprised me is how much coverage in the media has occurred. While armed citizens frequently defend themselves and others here in the U.S., the established media rarely covers it and when they do, it is usually shown in an unfavorable light. It would be nice to think the Media is starting to do their job of objectively reporting the news instead of pushing their socialist agenda, but, I doubt it. I will say, at least in Texas, that there are probably more than a few Shitheads that are rethinking achieving their fifteen minutes of fame by shooting up a church. May the Good Lord bless all the Defenders who stand up to protect the innocent.
Thank You, Jack Wilson!

Governor Abott should declare Jack Wilson Day, the same date he saved his congregation.

The Pastor should also get some credit since he was the one who asked for volunteers to guard the flock.

I recall when some Islamic extremists drove all the way from Arizona to shoot up a convention just outside of Dallas. The convention may have had a cartoon of Mohammed or something like that (remember Je Suis Charlie?). Well, these fellas had a long drive to make jihad because they barely even got on the property before they were taken out.

God bless Texas!
