Finally have access to AR after about 6 weeks. How's everyone going? I've been hitting Amazon US pretty hard for hunting gear and have been told by the wife to stop spending money dancing So far I've bought some jet boil stuff, a new pack and the "Meat Eaters" books (Safari press have been given a work out as well) Big Grin

Whats with that Black Friday stuff? What relevance is it outside the USA , and why has the rest of the world seized on it as a reason for a sale ?

The thing is about sales promotions
most don't get.

Shits on 'sale' everyday, or they
wouldn't be in business at all.

Newspaper here today promoted filling it
with sales ads, four pounds of it and put
a price on todays paper at $4. Hell of a deal.
Two small sections of paper and the rest ads.
I looked thru it just enough to see if there
was any other reading material mixed in and
tossed it all in the bucket. $4 for a local
paper is nuts.
Wish I could opt out of the ads period.

PS: Tony, Missed you mate!

Yep,there is still a lot of greed associated with pricing here in Aussieland.
We are continually skewered in pricing.
My buck goes for where I can get more bang for it.
