we picked up a few pounds of superformance powder for use in a .22-250 cal and also a .243 cal. there are ballistics for a 60 grain in the 250 and 70 grain in the .243. we use a 50 grain for the .250 and 58 in the .243. tried every load under the sun, even switched powders, best group we had we're .510 inches at 50 yards. switched to varget powder today, loaded up a 35 grain charge for the 250, and had 5 shots in the same hole at 50 and 5 shots in a pinky nail size hole at 100 yards. my gun is a ruger m77 mark 11, 26 inch barrel with a 1:14 twist. my grandpas is a thompson center venture predator with a 22 inch barrel and 1:10 twist.
