With advances in UAV's I can see no need in a manned hyper-sonic recon vehicle. If it exists it must be unmanned. But with constellations of spy satellites why?

I dimly remember a plastic model airplane at Kmart a couple of decades ago that was supposed to be someone's idea of what Aurora looked like.
