Ray,
I have a Ruger 77/22 Hornet action that has been re-barrelled to 17 Ackley Hornet(AH). You could rebarrel back the Hornet or play with the 17 AH. I would include the RCBS 17AH dies. Original laminate stock.

A friend has the Ruger 77/22 mag new in the box. He also has the standard 22 new in the box. Both have the laminated stock. I think he's going to list them on GB soon. Not sure what price they bring these days

They are $1000 new if you can find one.

Maybe more than that.

I used to have a 22 K-Hornet about 20 years ago.

Nice rifle but was not very accurate.

I didn’t know they were that expensive now. I had been looking for the right CZ 527in .22 Hornet, but came across a pre-64 M70 in Hornet. It is a bit big for the caliber, I like it so far.

Well.....
In 1994 they commonly sold for over to under $600

$600 is now just over $1100
