I've wondered about the Spain hunts I see advertised. They all seem expensive and for rather short durations. Three day hunts seem to be the norm but I've even seen one day hunts. Makes me think you would be hunting half tame animals. If I'm wrong please correct me.

It would be a rather easy trip with direct flights from the east coast of the US to Spain but I'm not about to travel that far for a high priced three day hunt.

I hunted La Espedella last year. Huge free ranging areas. They manage the ibex so well I shot both on first days. It is not like hunting in the USA. Excellent place to hunt in Spain, you won't go wrong. Hunted January and they ready to ship animals already. Paying more for size in my opinion is okay also. Have extra days and can tour or just relax and take pictures. I always have too many days on my hunts but never came home without an animal either.

The American mark up on Spanish hunts is pretty high.

It is not uncommon for a greater than 50% mark up over what a European would pay for the same animal.

If you want the cheapest available prices search caza macho montes on Google, and deal directly with a Spanish outfitter.

I understand you compare 2015 with 2020 Prices.Cheap hunts are Not always the Best hunts regardless where you go. You have to be very careful about that ... especially in Spain. I have multiple First hand Experiences with different Outfits in this Country.

How true! And price upto high silver means 99% shoot a rep or Bronze at best.
