In summer our coyotes look a lot like jackals in Africa. Their coats are much thinner, showing how skinny coyotes really are. I'll see if I can find some pictures.

NormanConquestAbout 14 years ago I was invited to a hunt on an exotics ranch in Victoria that wanted a whitetail doe cull. Hey, it was free. When I was in the stand I saw several good shots at coyotes but no one had said anything about their feelings about shooting anything but the does, so of course, I didn't. Naturally, after the fact the landowner says Hell Yes, kill all you see. But that could have easily gone the other way.
Never mistake motion for action.
