Bill/OregonWho makes a "Wolhuter"?
Just wondering if anyone makes an accurate replica of the plain-Jane Pipe-brand butcher knife that Harry Wolhuter used to kill the lion that was trying to kill him in Kruger Park that August day in 1903. Not looking for a bright, shiny collector's knife, but a user, with carbon steel blade and non-fancy, functional wood scales: a dead ringer.
Sheath not required.

Bill/OregonMy Von Gruff Wolhuter Lion Knife just arrived from New Zealand and it is simply elegant in its so very capable simplicity. I will post a photo just as soon as I can try to construct a "tableaux" at least semi-worthy of our own Geedubya's artistry.
