So I ordered a Gene Ingram #12 with Buff horn and mosaics, black sheath. Well the wait is Dec 2009 sooo... what to do.

Well I then ordered a Charles May Slitter with exhibition grade iron wood scales. It should be here in about 10 or so months. Back to useing a buck for another season.

The best knife I ever owned with a Bechmade (2) and (3) Spydercos. I have been told these knives are well worth the wait and the cost, which by the way is very inexpensive for handcrafted art like this.

Genes knifes are definatly worth the wait. I`ve a #2 in D2 and have been simply amazed at the edge holding ability of this steel.
I can`t comment on Charles May`s blades but I`ve a few from another maker in that area, Dave Winston. http://winstonknives.blademakers.com/

I can highly recommend him also.
