And they are made of D2 steel. I plan to try out the Magnum ulu this season skinning some tuff texas hogs. My current favorite skinner is a Knives of Alaska Yukon Belt knife in D2. Works like a charm

I bought a Knives of Alaska Ulu last year and have cleaned 15 deer and 4 hogs with it, and I couldn't be more pleased with it.
