What is the consencensus of the Marble Woodcraft as a economicaly priced deer skinning knife?

I have two orginal Woodcrafts I used them for years. But found they do not hold a edge every well.

I like the blade design it worked really well gut and skinned a lot of deer with them.

If the newer ones have better steel( I am sure they do) and hold a edge I think you well enjoy it.

I went to a new then 20 years ago to a Remington Big Game knife with a saw blade. It hold a edge 5 times longer the my old Marbles. It is the knife I carry for big game now the marbles just sit in the desk.
