kda55Kodos to Lee Baumgart
Broke the tip on my knife while field dressing an antelope. Notified Lee and he said send it over, I'll see what I can do. Excellent result.
Thanks Lee.

squeezenhopeJust curious, did he give you an ass chewing?

kda55Not even, it's a hunting knife. It's now a better knife than when new. Heavier at the point for better support, shorter blade which I prefer. 3-3.5" blade is my preferred for field work on game, longer for general work. I'm waiting for a short 4" or less, .187 blade with moderate taper to a beefy tip, drop point. We'll see.

muzzaI know it happens , but how did you manage to break that much off the blade tip?

Lee BaumgartAll I can add is that the knife was properly hollow ground and properly heat treated.
