I know the 7mm STW isn't a too popular cartridge on here but Im hoping yall can help.

None of my reloading manuals show the (now discontinued?) H870 powder. I have around 16+ lbs I am able to use and I think this is a good way to burn through some of it

Anyone have any older manuals thay may have this powder and cartridge in it? Or is the replacement powder close enough so i can use the data out of my newer manuals

Couple H870 loads in above.

ETA: well, found more data in Sierra 4th, Nosler 4th (5th), and Hodgdon 26th manuals. Which bullet weight(s) or mfg are of interest?

Hodgdon #26, 26", brass not mentioned, 1-10" twist, Fed 215:

160 gr, H-870 min 83.0 gr 3065 fps - max 87.0 gr 3233 fps


Sierra #4, 26", reformed 8mm RM brass, 26", 1-9" twist, Fed 215:

140 gr, H870 min 86.0 gr 3200 fps - max 93.0 gr 3400 fps
160 gr, H870 min 79.8 gr 2900 fps - max 88.5 gr 3200 fps


Nosler #4, 26" 1-9" twist, Rem brass, Fed 215:

160 gr, H870 min 82.5 gr 2915 fps - max 86.5 gr 3107 fps.
