Hey Boom..........one thing about it, as heavy as the triggers are on BLR's you wouldn't have to worry about it accidently going off Smiler

As it is the BLR in 50-110 doesnt "snip" "pinch"
"crunch" "bang" "clip" or hurt my hand or my pinkys during or after recoil and it kicks alot more then my ruger m 77 458 win mag with hot loads in it .

"Most"of the folks here know Wink just like i did when i had that rifle made up that a BLR is not a true lever action it just looks like it
More like a "lever operated bolt action rifle"
But a lever none the less.

Now back to the 470 AR Razzer

The AR line of rounds...taking 7 Mags down one at a time. I was impressed when Jeffe dropped an AR round in my factory M70 LH CRF in 7 Mag and it was picking it up out of the mag and trying to feed it.

Just counting the days now until its done.

Congratulations Jeffe!

Absolutely nifty cartridge designs.

My Parker-Hale action is in, as is the trigger and stock. The bottom metal has been ordered (sure hope it will or can be made to work). Will call about the .458 AR dies this afternoon.

Have located a buddy with a Patker-Hale .458 and were going to look at its barrel contour and recoil lugs for good ideas. Thought I'd try to make the barrel band, front sight band, and quarter rib.

We'll see when the barrel can get into the work queue.

Again Jeffe, thanks for the great work!

Whew Jeffe! I spent all of 15 minutes forming the shoulders on 100 458 AR's (including one pee break)...I am pooped...(major sarcasm!!).

After fire forming I am going to attempt to wear the cutter out on the RCBS power trimmer. I thought shooting a wildcat was supposed to be a pain in the butt? bull

I haven't had too much time to check in lately but I did get a chance to go out and shoot my .416 AR.
I have the rifle and .470 barrel waitin on the go ahead from Jeffe.
I have been forming and fireforming for a few times now and even with the multi-part setup--I haven't gotten the real dies from Dave yet- it isn't hard at all.
Once I get the .470 going (maybe before) I am going to sell off the .375 RUM and a few other rifles in close calibers.
The Ruger 77 works perfectly for this round with no hangups or mis-feeds. I actually had more trouble when making the .358 Norma mag fit the model 77.
You have a major winner Jeffe. Do you think the .458AR will work through a Mark X? Seems like it should clean up the .458 WM very easily.

Hey Frank, think about this...375 Ultra for plains game and the 458 AR for the dangerous stuff. That way you have a barrel stamped 375 RUM and all your ammo matches should you travel abroad.
