Only a few chapters in and loving it. Historical fiction based around the Fettermen Massacre of 1866. Crazy Horse, Red Cloud, Jim Bridger, Carrington, and of course Fettermen all come to life in this gripping story of the west. Written by Punke, famous for the Revenant and subsequent movie. I’ve read quite a few accounts of this battle and this reads as fresh as if I’ve never heard of it. Spoiler alert! I love it when the Indians win.
