It supposed to be, and appears to be, factory ammo in the factory box, any ideas?

Being an old guy who grew up with Herters, I always think that original bullets, brass and ammo would have a big collectors value. But it doesn't seem to work out that way for some reason. Single cartridges still seem to sell for about a buck each which is about as low as you can get. Maybe the young shooters aren't familiar with Herters or maybe it simply isn't old enough yet.

You might browse Auction Arms or Gun Broker to try and find a "Herters Collector".

I got rid of several boxes a couple years ago and still have 3 or 4. I don't think that they bring much.
