"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I am a collector of Shotshell Crates. After WWI there were too many shotshell variations compared to today. There was no Standard length 2 1/2 to 3 + . They came up with 2 3/4 as a Standard for 12ga 16g. 20ga. 10 stayed at 2 7/8. It took until after WWII for it to be final.Along the way 3 inch came in 12,16,20,410.Big 10 to 3 1/2 as Standards.
