.38 CLMR
Was just given two .38 CLMR headstamped cartridges. I think they are Colt Lightening Magazine Rifle Cartridges. Going to have to look them up. Not much bigger than a .38 special.

Yes you are correct on the meaning of CLMR. It is basically a special loading of the 38-40 WCF meant for Colt pump action rifles.
