While sorting out and consolidating a lot of stuff that I purchased from an old gentleman's estate, I have found two items I would like to know more about. First, in a lot of .30 carbine brass, I found some cases with a headstamp of "7.62X33" I've never seen a reference to the .30 carbine as 7.62X33 and was eondering how common it was? I know the French and the Dominican Republic chambered arms for the .30 carbine round and to my knowlege, no one else ever did although a lot of countries used the US carbine. Any info?

Also found some 303 Brit with a Kynoch headstamp - how rare is this stamp?

And finally, a Federal Cartridge counter pad - probably some 25-30 years old. Foam on the back and all sorts of Federal ads on the front under a clear cover. Any info here appreciated.

Regards, and

only 7.62x33? no other marking?
French indicated more than the metric caliber.

.303 Kynoch is very common.
