I have 48 rounds of the rimfire 5mm Rem Mag that I am wanting to know the value of. Box is in very good shape. Any help would be appreciated.

Going price is about $60 to $65 a box. I have seen them listed for more, but not sell.

I'd have no hesitation about asking $70.

I had a case lot I bought at wholesale many years ago and stashed . . . paid something like $2.83 a box as I recall. I started selling them at $50 / box circa 1992. With no offense to Eric & Ted, I was selling them at $75 a box four years ago when I sold the last of those and had no trouble moving them.

None have been made since R-P stopped production and it is highly unlikely any more ever will be due to liability issues. There were problems with the rifle's design and some of the production proved too "hot" for safe operation, with some damaged firearms (bolts, I think?) involved.
