I have a can of 30-06 ammo in Enbloc clips
Lot LC39523
I cannot seem to find how to tell how old it is
Any help here?

That is a post WWII and pre-1975 Lake City lot number. MIL-STD-1168A changed the lot numbers to 13 digits in 1975. Lake City stopped loading with corrosive primers in 1951 with lot number 13700. So, yours would be non-corrosive ammo if that is the concern.

Why don't you remove a cartridge and look at the date in the headstamp?

If it looks good and was kept in nice dry place I wouldn't be afraid to shoot it.

Don't forget to keep your EnBlocs. There is a collectors market for the different Enblocs as well as the paper cover for the ammo coffee

I agree,all the Lake City that I have fired has been of eexcellent quality + is top quality brass (one of my preferred for wildcats as well.)
