Greetings to all: A while back, I had a can of .22LR ammo given to me. Well it is all mixed makes and about 30 rounds will not chamber in any of the 3 firearms I tried it in.

It basically looks like a .22 LR but there are no driving bands showing. It is slightly shorter than a .22LR and larger in diameter too.

It will chamber about half way. I know better than to force it, so here are the specs:

Overall length= .908"
Rim diameter= .310"
case body diameter= .249"
bullet diameter= .214" (where I could measure)

What are they?

sorry no pic yet...rotten phone....

.22 Winchester Rimfire? Kind of half way between a .22 long rifle and a .22 rimfire magnum?

This link has some info and some photos.
