I picked these up at a gun show on the weekend, 3 live rounds and 10 fired cases. The bottom of both boxes has 17 S F on them.



Can anyone give me an estimated date of manufacture ?

Fleming's "British Sporting Rifle Cartridges" shows on page 254 an ICI (Kynoch) .375 2-1/2" Flanged box code of 17 SF as dating to December of 1931.

That should get you close... Big Grin
