Re: the old 10,75x68 cartridge
Please be aware that these loads were worked up back in the mid-90s when I had a 10.75x68 Mauser and where safe in my rifle.

400gr Woodleigh, RWS case, WLR primer, 61.0gr AR2208 (Varget), velocity was 2100 fps.

I miss my 10.75x68, it was a calibre with real potential!! I think one day I'll have another built, but finding good cases is hard. I'll never forgive RWS for dropping it, nor myself for selling it! Loaded up as above it equals the original 404 Jeffery, with a 347gr RWS loaded to its original ballistics it was very comfortable to shoot. Sellier & Bellot factory ammunition was also very mild as was the Kynoch ammunition. If I had of had half a brain when I was younger I would have saved that original Kynoch ammunition, as it was I shot all the ammunition away and sold the rifle when cases became hard to find. Mine was a military Mauser rebarelled, but I think the Brno ZKK602 was also chambered for the cartridge.

Cheers...
