Does anybody have some loading data for this round? I have a rifle from 1877, 100 cases but cant make it shoot worth a crap!

My 1925 Kynoch Catalogue lists a load of 30 grains of smokeless power , 300 gr metal covered bullet and a mv of 1650 fps. I would guess the powder listed was Ballistite , but wouldnt like to assume that is correct .

Unable to find any other information in my library , hope that meager bit helps .

The bitch is that the barrel is 1-26" wich means a boolit no more than 100-120 grains of weight!
