Fire making the old way
I bought some modern “strike anywhere” matches a while back. Function was best described as iffy.

I’ve never been a smoker, excepting the occasional cigar years ago. But I find a Brass Maratac lighter in my pocket to be quite handy at times.

That's true if humidity gets to them they sometimes light + sometimes fizzle. I keep my boxes in a zip lock bag with rice in it. That always worked with my stamps in a mason jar years ago when we had stamps that we had to lick.
