Fellow Waterfowlers; I have the following hunts available:
Massachusetts: Hunt puddle ducks, divers, geese/brant or sea ducks. Cost is $300 per per hunter, per day. Enjoy some of the best wing shooting on the east coast for big Eiders, Old Squaw/Longtail, 3 species of Scoters (whitewing, black & surf) and Brant. Atlantic Black Duck, Pintails, Canada Geese, divers and more. Dec-Jan is best for trophy birds but hunting is good usually from the opening day on. If your a single hunter, I'll try and get you in with a couple of other hunters when possible.
Here are this coming season dates and bag limits:
Coastal seasons 2016-2017
Ducks Limit 6 (see MA regs for details)
Oct 14-22
Nov 17-Jan 27

Brant Nov 21-Jan28 Limit 2 per day 6 in possession

Sea ducks Nov 21-Jan 28 : Limit 5** with 15 in possession
** Singly or in the aggregate, no more than 4 scoter, 4 eider (but no more than 1 hen), 4 long-tailed duck [oldsquaw] in the daily bag.

Nebraska: Dates are generally from mid Oct through mid December. $150 per day, per hunter. This is a waterfowl mecca for puddle ducks and geese. Divers not so much but there are a good number of Redheads around. Geese include Canada, Speckle belly, Snow, Blue & Ross. Ducks are Pintail, Mallard, Widgeon, Gadwall, etc. Local hotels are good as is available food. Repeat hunters book early so get with me if you want to get in on some great hunting! LDK

couple questions on the Nebraska hunt..

Is this typically Layout blind hunting and how many hunters per field is max?

..are smaller groups mixed?

It is very mobile and can be from fixed, permanent type blinds, layout blinds to hiding in the brush. It depends where the birds are using. Vast area with miles and miles of corn etc. Ponds, slash water etc., are used at times. If you have a preference, it is not difficult to sort that out, they are flexible. As for groups, generally small, 4 or less. Goose hunting is usually from layout blinds and numbers of hunters can vary. We had 7-8 with us last March for the late snow goose season. No problems.

It's been very dry so far this Summer. That will make all the area water sources even more important. Late Summer/Fall rains could change that but the birds will always be in the corn and water.

Re: Nebraska. It looks like hunters make their own accommodation arrangements, and then meet up with guides in the field? What about dogs? Are dogs in the hunt pricing? What if we bring our own?

TWL, I assist hunters with lodging and other details; I do not charge anything for this service. Generally you'll be staying about 20 minutes or so from your hunting area but that could be more/less as the outfitter has many places to hunt. Huge corn fields, marshes/ponds etc., on private land. He has a fine female Lab that I found to be a good, behaved retriever. Your welcome to call me if you have more questions, dates are beginning to fill up.

Early zone hunting in NE: Wood ducks, Teal, Gadwall, Wigeon, Mallard, Ring-neck & Red Heads are the usual bag right now. Some Specks are showing up but will increase with other geese as colder weather moves in. Lots of birds still up in the Dakota's so by the end of the month things should really be rocking. Still have a few open dates, contact me if your wanting a great place to hunt this season. License are very reasonable as well as places to stay and eat. We have a full week booked ourselves. $150 per day.

Trophy bird hunts in MA for sea ducks etc., will get underway in December. $300 per day.

Arkansas goose hunting: $300 per day includes room and board. Located 40-45 minutes from Stuttgart. Get your license online or stop at Mack's Prairie Wings in Stuttgart. Great place to lose your mind, they even have big bore rifles normally. If there are plenty of ducks, you might go after them too.

Where about in MA, I am in southern NH and acutally work in MA and could maybe make it a (long) day trip.
