Beretta682EBaiting ducks
Two mallard hens have been coming to my backyard bird feeder and eating what has fallen down. Looks like it is a mother and daughter as one duck is much bigger than the other.
What should I put to feed them ?
Cracked corn or whole corn ? Anything else.
They walk all over the back yard and right up to the pool. Friendly and not to afraid.
Thanks
Mike

L. David KeithAny dry grain requires ample water, so I understand why they go for your pool. Just FYI, be cautious of their feces in your pool. It will dissipate almost instantly. Ducks love rice, soybeans, wheat, all grains so you might add some sand to your feeder (maybe in a large plastic bowl) as they require grit to process their food, especially hard, dry grain.
