There is a nest of the same parakeets where I live and run. They make a distinctive sound and I stop and make a shooting pose. It’s instinctive, but it really freaks out the Dallas liberals.

That’s exactly how I am in Argentina with the parakeets and pigeons if I’m just around on a dove hunt.

I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills.

Shooting perdiz at a beautiful estancia. Having lunch and the owner came in with a case of shells and asked us to shoot all the parakeets around the house when lunch was over. We gladly helped.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
