It's always a pleasant experience to get something that one will really enjoy for Christmas. I have always tried to be the good, fun gift guy. My self I hate getting pairs of socks, etc. Those aren't gifts. Now, THIS is a gift. Take care of your wife; not only did she get you a righteous gift but she pays attention to your likes. tu2

I never get socks, Randy. Big Grin My family has been trained for years to give me one thing and one thing only: Sportsman's Warehouse gift cards. tu2

Vaughn, one of the best Christmas's that I can remember (for me, not for the kids) was one year I told my wife at the time that what I would really like is not a bunch of stuff but get all my friends who had meant to give me something just to pool their money to a gift card to McBrides gun store. They did + I bought a straight stock, Schnabel forend, crescent buttplate Savage 99 in 308. Smiler

Oh + along that same line, my wife this year bought me my gifts of an Ora- gel electric toothbrush waterpick, + a pair of heavy duty toenail clippers. My eldest son however trumped that by giving me a 1965 Rolex Oyster watch (all gold, of course). I am grateful of course for everything but still remember that some are items of necessity while some are actually gifts.
