Another one followed me home

I found this Renegade for 200 bucks. I have a Green Mountain Fast twist 45 to put in it. It will become my new long range rifle.

Nice.

I had one in .54 cal years ago, not long after they first came out. It's definitely a rifle I wish I still had. Accurate and durable plus it had the nicest wood I've ever had on any factory rifle of any kind.

I also had a 54 cal Renegade back in the day. Shot 10 shot groups at 100 yds with round balls into an inch with the open sights. I’m sure my eyes could no longer do that but I should have never let it go.

It's a 50 cal. I probably will keep it.

I have two TC 54 caliber Hawken rifles, and a custom made 54 caliber Lancaster rifle. Love black powder rifles!
