Can anybody tell me how to remove the barrel on my new Pedersoli Frontier? I think it is also called Blue Ridge. The manual / DVD doesn't help. Do I need to undo the rod holders? Thanks in advance.

Check the stock for 3 little cross pins; that is what holds the barrel in. The thimbles are pinned to the stock separately. On 99.9% of flintlocks. Should be also on the Pedersoli.

Thank you. All sorted now. The Pedersoli team on FB came to the rescue. It is indeed the thimble screws - no pins or ribs.
