Post Racial
11-9-8 "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Martin Luther King "I Have A Dream" The term "post-racial" has been bandied about by pundits. "Barack Obama is post-racial. " -- that race is not a consideration in his politics. I made the comment: "He's black? ! ! ! I was so impressed with what he had to say, I must have missed the black part." I voted for Barack Obama because of the content of his character, not because of the color of his skin. Election of our nation's President is a character issue. It should not be, and with respect to President Obama it is not a "race issue." |

90% of black persons voting, voted for Obama yet many would not have been able to name a single policy of his. Zedo, you probably voted Obama because you feel guilty about not being downtrodden and black ... |

What "character" does he have when he hangs with people who murder in the name of violent revolution-- Bill Ayers, for one? King would spit on Ooga... King was a Republican. Did you know that? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ My little guy up there is laughing at those of you on my Ignore list. This logo substituted for an unflattering picture of Ooga-booga because photobucket deleted what was here. Let it be known that photobucket is a kiss-ass outfit for the Marxist in Chief. |

I voted because John McCain couldn't sustain a coherent policy direction two days running. His pick of Sarah Palin demonstrated poor judgment, a fact she continues to prove even after the election.
I agree that a lot of blacks voted for Obama because of race. And that's just as racist as not voting for him because of race -- be it his or yours. I seriously considered writing in "T. Boone Pickens," but thought better of it when I realized that John McCain needs to be kept away from the Oval Office. So, in the final analytics, I voted more against McCain than for anyone else. And if race entered into it, it's that John McCain and Sarah Palin don't belong in a race for President. |

So if you voted against McCain and not for Obama why do you defend all his plans and schemes?
I like some of his stuff but can still see through the rest of it as being designed only to retain power. Gator A Proud Member of the Obamanation |
