Interesting times, what? Don't know about the rest of the country but would like to ,concerning panic purchasing on ammo + all components in your area.I'll go first. This last weekend in Austin at the 2 day gun show,in the first 45 minutes on Saturday,EVERYTHING was sold out.We had a line around the building waiting for the show to open.Sellers market! Any semi auto piece + all hi cap mags went for a premium price. How is it in your neighborhood?

Got plenty of them nasty black rifles on the shelf at the hardware store. Ammo supply (1000-round cases) kind of low. People are buying, though...

I suspect many of the buyers are still sitting on their Y2K stach....LOL

It's my solemn prayer that the reason for the buying never comes to pass.

This past weekend in Medina, Oh, was a 2 day show that ended at 3:00pm Sunday. I got there at 1:30 on Sunday thinking that things would be winding down. Not! It was a mob scene.

Unfortunately, I live in the peoples democratic state of NJ. So, I have no gun shows to attend. But since I no longer have any firearms, (lost all in the great flood) I'll have to rely on my dogs to quell any uprisings!

Seriously I used to have a vintage BAR with over 5,000 rounds of AP and solids. But again it was lost in the flood!

Move away. Why would any sane person want to live in NJ, anyway? I've been there too many times. It was always a blessing to cross into PA on I-78W. Being in NJ is like wearing dirty clothes: You just want to get out of them as soon as you can...

Stopped by Cabelas over the weekend and the gun counter was calling numbers. That's not that unusual however but it was quite busy. I looked over some reloading components and they had a pretty good selection and the prices were were they were the last time I bought.

Ken....
