After the originator of the term "cool-aid" Jim Jones, a great speaker and messiah figure promised a utopian society. He preaches a socialistic message with no rich or poor but a commonality of wealth and possessions. He promised healing and miracles while hypnotizing his followers by his charisma. All was well for a while but then the messiah turned into the dictator. Rather than be a failure he would rather sacrifice the flock. When there was opposition his henchmen forced the followers to drink poison cool aid.
