A third party vote is a protest vote for Biden (unless Trump wins, then it’s a protest vote for Trump). Especially libertarian.

If that is what you want to do, go for it; but realize that really is what you are doing. Don’t confuse yourself that you are really voting for the best person for the job this year, third party has no chance to win the presidency. Local downticket races, maybe.

Mine as well, will not matter to anyone but myself, so Libertarian it will be. Wasted votes are ones cast for something you don't believe in...

If Australia is any guide I don't think Libertarian can ever get anywhere. Australia's preferential voting system gives minr parties a good chance to get into the parliament and especially the Senate and the Upper Houses of the states and Libertarian got a run. They never got re elected even though tghey got very good media exposure and especially on Sky News Australia (A Fox News stable mate) and our biggest radio station which is a conservatibve station.

The basic problem is their policy positions and statements go against both The Greens on one side and conservatives on the other side which cancels out where they attract the left and the right.

Their stance on same sex marriage, it is not the governent's business if you want to marry your dog or jump into bed with your dog etc. causes big problems on the conservative side BUT attracts the far left. However, their stance on gun laws etc. then drives the far left away.

While their they got bvery good exposure on Sky News Australia and our biggest radio station that did not have the desired result because both of those media outlets are conservative. They also got good exposure on our left wing media outlet but the gunlaws etc. was not a good lookon those media outlets.

There is not enough of us left to split the vote. We really need to stick together and vote Republican. Together we can right the wrongs of the GOP.

But just think. A mere 4.75 years we were morning the loss of Scalia with the future of the SCOTUS and 2A looking bleak.

Trump saved the SCOTUS for us...like him or not.

If we in our concurrent states stick together with the GOP...we might still have a chance.

A third party presidential vote is simply a waste.
While I respect those that vote 3rd party on principle, the reality is that the USA will be governed by some combination of D or R politicians.
Libertarians simply are not a viable option.

I want to vote for Jo but this is a once in a lifetime chance to vote for Kanye West to throw that in the face of identity politics racists.

Kanye and 2020 are a perfect match.

I would have preferred Allen West.

I'm certainly happier with the GOP than the lunatics, however, the GOP has a looooooong way to go in the fiscal responsibility department. However, under Trump's leadership I am pleased with the stridens the GOP has made in reducing government intrusion and interference in commerce and our daily lives. Would like to see that trend continue.

In regards to the liberals, I cannot point to a single idea they have championed that I agree with.

    Higher Taxes - Nope
    Green New Deal - Nope
    Socialized Medical Care - Nope
    International Trade Agreements - Nope
Free Education For All - Nope
    Erasing Student Loans - Nope
    Cutting Military Expenditures - Nope
Getting Cozy With China & Iran - Nope
    Open Borders - Nope
    Sanctuary Cities - Nope
    Defunding the Police - Nope
    Dismantling ICE - Nope
Destroying Our Energy Independence - Nope
    Minimum Wage Increase - Nope
    Federal Regulations - Nope
    COVID Response - Nope
    Supporting Endless Wars - Nope
Attacking and Weakening Israel - Nope
Restrictions On Federal Lands - Nope
Controlling & Manipulating The Media - Nope

I would love to see a third party, however, it will only hurt support for the GOP. It's not like the DNC is suddenly going to get a clue and divide the party between the moderates and the lunatics. We will be a two party system for the foreseeable future.

Maybe I should have said I am OK with GOP in comparison.

They too certainly need help with spending. If we don’t have it...we should NEVER spend it.
