Report clears Palin in Troopergate probe

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D947PVBG0&show_article=1

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner.

Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.

A separate legislative investigation recently concluded that Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, abused her office by allowing her husband and staffers to pressure the public safety commissioner to fire a state trooper who went through a nasty divorce from Palin's sister.

Palin says the firing had nothing to do with the trooper.

SGraves155 , it's his talking points, he's a foot soldier, not a leader. We have to wait for a higher valued target.

Of course she was cleared. There was never any possibility of an ethics violation concerning a governor's personnel decisions concerning cabinet members that serve at her pleasure. It's impossible.

Which should have been crystal clear to everyone from the absolute stupidity of the Alaska State Legislature's earlier report. It was impossible to read the report delivered to the legislature, which represented only one man's opinion, and arrive at any other conclusion based on the evidence. There was no evidence Palin violated any ethics statutes.

Of course the hack who wrote the report did deliver a different opinion. He was told to deliver that opinion by Hollis French (D-Al Qaeda) who was actually running the Stalinist show trial. But it was not based on any evidence. It was an empty hit piece. It was good enough for a cheap headline, which fed the talking points of idiots.

The tortured conclusion of the report should have been enough to raise questions in the minds of any thinking person. The legislature hit-piece concluded that Palin (a) violated an Alaska ethics stature while (b) acting lawfully by (c) not even firing a member of her own cabinet, but attempting to transfer him.

Naturally that particular conclusion raised no questions in the minds of libtards, because to have questions you must first have a mind.

Situation hopeless, but not serious

I don't think it has been or can be emphasized enough to note that the legislature that investigated the trooper thing, the legislators that so frequently grouse about Gov Palin are the same ones that were RAIDED BY THE FBI!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello!.......Who care what they think say or do? Moral high ground?.......Um,.....Nope.

I've been to Alaskas state Capitol, I've seen where they worked, met, and were bribed. They all knew what was going on if not guilty themselves. I haven't the slightest concern for any of them or their opinion on any subject. I look forward to their entire replacement.

If the Republicans loose the national executive race thats good news for Alaska. We get out competent, honorable state executive.
