Greetings to all! After reading everything I can find on swaging bullets I am deeper in the hole than when I started. I bought a lot of stuff at an estate sale and it included five sets of Herter's swaging dies - .224, 308, 38 spcl, 44 Spl, and 45ACP stamped on the dies. Also got a couple of thousand various jackets and a lot of lead wire. Now can anyone recommend where I can find some instructions on using these things? I have a Rock Chucker press so I think I'm good there but have not a clue how to proceed.
Also got some strange ammo like 41 Colt, 38/55 and 7mm Mauser by Remington but in a slip top box. Would like to have known the man that owned all of this.
Any and all help and info appreciated.

Lord, give me patience 'cuz if you give me strength I'll need bail money!!

Trapper, I use my Rock Chucker to swage with.
I have two sets of dies made by C-H Tool. One is .44 and the other is 38/357.
Give Martin Potts a PM and ask him about instructions on these.
If you ever get tired of playing with your new toys,I'll buy them. Smiler

Of all the ones I listed the 44 would be the only one I don't have a use for. What are these things worth? As I mentioned, I bought all the stuff from the estate of a guy that had loaded for years and the bullet swaging dies came with the lot, along with a lot of different bullet jackets - don't know how many of them are for the 44.
Somebody say something here. Razzer

I don't know what they are worth.Keep what you want and sell the rest for what you got in em.
Or mark it up a lil' for your finders fee. Smiler

PM me if you are interested.

And that's the only one at this point I would consider selling. Still don't know what to ask for it - checked Ebay for past sales and only found C-H dies. I could not believe what they sold for - low of $56 to over $100! May have to pack up and sell out if I can't afford to keep my stuff! Give day or three to think about it.
