Is the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme press adequate for swaging .45 acp lead bullets?? Is it considered a good quality press,as were the older ones?? Any personal experience out there?? Tnx Erod

Wound up with a Redding Big Boss press and C-H .45acp SWC swaging dies. This is a great outfit to learn swaging on-until my Walnut Hill and dies arrive.Dealing with Dave D.(C-H company)and Richard C.(RCE Swaging)was excellent as they were both informative and more than willing to help a beginner in swaging.ernierod

I started out using my Rock Chucker and CH dies for my 45. It took a lot of pressure to swage the lead wire into the jacket. After I saved up my pennies, I bought a Walnut Hill press from Richard. It was like night and day between the Rock Chucker and the Walnut Hill presses. It was so much easier. I think you will like it.

Dave and Richard are both good people and I will be doing business with them again.

Back on mute. Cool

Meddle not with dragons, for you are good and crunchy with ketchup.
