if any one out there is making .50 bmg bullets, id really like to know what king of luck you've had in both economy and accuracy??? im a FCSA .50 bmg competitor and really don't think that solid bullets are the way to go. " if only sierra made a 700+ grain match king, or a .50 bmg bullet at all it would be nice."

See "Shot Filled Bullets" on this Forum for the .50 BMG bullets I have made. As far as economy, it is hard to make something to beat the cost of surplus bullets that sell for 6 to 8 cents each. I know they are not target bullets but they go bang and are good enough for fun shooting and letting folks who have never shot one try it out. The FCSA magazine "Very High Power" and Buyers Guide are the best source for specialty bullet makers. It does seem accuracy and economy are mutually exclusive.
