I guess i need to get myself a 500 Nitro or a 505 Gibbs

shooting stuff through the pressure gun is just not as much fun as the real thing

Gentlemen

The No 3 design.

I made the grooves a bit smaller and not so deep as the No 2 design. Bullet is a bit more heavy due to this the weight is now a bit more then 500 grn. sorry for not being precise but I only have a 505 from RCBS
Hole is SQUARE 0,125 inch / 3,20 mm
Bullet over all length is 1,464 inch / 37,20 mm





This is the EVO of the Bullet the No 3 design is 2nd from right.




First design of the Cup point solid.

At a bullet weight of 500 grains (I believe that is what you said they weighed) you should be able to get pretty darned close to 2500 fps. What powder are you using, something like N140, or N135?
